Sheila - "Baker Extraordinaire & Kitchen-Office Maven"
Retired from Bates College, SheShe feels she's in heaven working at the Inn. She's amazed she's actually getting paid to do everything she enjoys doing! She is as particular and detail oriented as Jan and is a perfect fit. Sheila also volunteers for St. Mary's Hospital weekly, walks daily with her husband the professor, and loves to line dry her laundry. She takes wonderful care of our guests and is truly a gem.
Leiarna - Our "Domestic Goddess"
Can't help but think her Mom must have been thinking of Hawaii when she had her! Leiarna is part of the Inn's family in more ways than one . . . she's Glen's sister and, bless his heart, he recruited her for us and we're glad he did! Quiet and hard-working, Leiarna is self-motivated and takes pride in her work . . . thank her for those clean corners! A doting Grandma and truly connected family person, we're proud to have her at the Inn. She also fills in covering the Inn on occasion . . . another bright, multi-talented person to help make the Inn's guests' stay seamless and comfortable.
Patty - "Peacefully Pleasant Patty"
Working two days a week, Patty is Leiarna's protégé. She has another job and an adorable baby boy in addition to being fully involved with her extended family. Patty has a serenity about her that is evident in her silent smile as she works. She's a hard worker, kind and thoughtful with our guests, and an asset to the Inn.
Nancie & Hannah - "The Dynamic Duo"
Mom and daughter come as a team . . . and they're a mighty powerful team when it comes to taking care of the Inn. Professional housekeepers with a full schedule in prominent local homes, they work at the Inn every other weekend. There are no dust balls or runaway socks under the beds with these two taking care of guest rooms. You'll find these two ladies graciously congenial, although Hannah tends to be very, very quiet despite the twinkle in her eyes.
